Forging Brass

With the constant need for metal savings Forging Brasses and operations have rapidly grown by offering lower metal input and reduced machining time due to a near nett shape being achieved in a matter of seconds.

The end product is metallurgically superior to that of a casting and sound due to the high compressive nature of the forging process.

CDA377 is the standard by which the forgability of brasses are judged with a 100% rating and a high machinability due to the small additions of Pb into its mix. Modern multi-core forging operations have resulted in truly mass produced products lowering costs across the board.
